Program & Research Associate

1. ROLE SUMMARY

The Program & Research Associate will support the end-to-end design, coordination, and evaluation of the CREST Accelerator — a flagship entrepreneurship program focused on Change Readiness, soft-skills development, and legitimacy-building for Nigerian SMEs.

The Associate will work closely with the Program Director to execute program operations at a high professional standard, support research activities, and ensure timely, accurate delivery of all components of the project.

This role provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in:

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Program Development & Preparation

  • Support the preparation of training materials, templates, and participant resources.

  • Organize slide decks, workbooks, and session guides in a structured, accessible manner.

  • Assist in refining modules, exercises, and learning activities.

B. Participant Recruitment & Engagement

  • Manage a sampling frame of 1,000 women entrepreneurs for the study.

  • Execute a structured nurture sequence (emails, WhatsApp messages, informational webinars).

  • Track applicant interest, confirmations, and cohort assignments.

  • Coordinate onboarding and communication with enrolled participants.

C. Program Operations & Delivery

  • Schedule training sessions and distribute session materials and reminders.

  • Manage participant groups (CREST, PITCHPRENEUR, Control) and ensure smooth communication.

  • Provide operational support during live sessions (attendance, documentation, technical facilitation).

  • Prepare weekly operational reports summarizing progress and risks.

D. Research Support (Baseline & Endline)

  • Set up and distribute baseline and endline surveys.

  • Conduct follow-up with participants to maximize response rates.

  • Maintain clean, structured data records and tracking dashboards.

  • Assist with preliminary data cleaning under supervision.

E. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

  • Maintain attendance logs, engagement metrics, and implementation notes.

  • Document key observations for M&E and program fidelity checks.

  • Prepare concise weekly summaries and monthly progress briefs for leadership.

F. Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintain an organized digital workspace (Google Drive).

  • Support scheduling, logistics, and vendor coordination.

  • Prepare documents, reports, and communications as required.
